Seven Lakes Fire & Rescue Golf Ball Drop 2024 Terms & Conditions: 


All Helicopter Golf Ball Drop prize donations are welcome, and we are always overwhelmed by the generosity of the community around us and the companies that support our events. In order to protect the value of these donations and to maximize the potential donation total to the Seven Lakes Fire & Rescue we have the following terms and conditions in place. 


General Overview: When an individual purchases a golf ball, they receive a number. That number is then placed on a golf ball. All golf balls will be dropped from a firetruck over a pin in the middle of thegrassy area located adjacent to the fire station.

The winner that is closest to the pin (#1) wins the Grand Prize of $500.00 second Closest wins the cruise .  In the unlikely event of a tie, the winner will be determined to be, the participant whose golf ball is the lowest numbered will be deemed closer and Grand Prize  and Cruise Winner. 


Please note that 2 members from the Seven Lakes Fire & Rescue will verify the number and order of the winners. 


If Seven Lakes Fire & Rescue is unable to contact an individual via phone or email after 10 days (we will make 3 attempts), they will move on to the next person on the list of closest to the pin. 


Additional Terms & Conditions: 


1.) There is no limit to the number of golf balls any individual may purchase. 2.) There is no limit on the number of prizes any individual may win. 3.) Individuals do not need to be present to win. Winners will be announced publicly at the event and after the event is completed via Seven Lakes News and social media . 4.) Members of Seven Lakes Fire & Rescue  will make every effort to protect the integrity of the event, ensuring the randomness of the winnings. All proceeds of the raffle will be protected and guaranteed to be utilized as designated to the Seven Lakes Fire & Rescue. 5.) Any physical prizes won will be delivered personally or sent by mail where appropriate. 6.) The event will be executed rain or shine. In case of rain or weather that causes ta delay on the day of the event, then a subsequent Saturday will take place.  7.)All purchases of golf balls are final and not subject to refund.   8.)  Tracking Tickets:The Seven Lakes Fire & Rescues hall be responsible for maintaining the list of golf balls sold and the name and email address of the purchaser of each golf ball to ensure the openness and integrity of the Golf Ball Drop.


Ball Certification

• Standard golf balls of comparable weight and size will be numbered 1 to 1,000.

• The Seven Lakes Fire & Rescue will maintain a master list of balls purchased, the ticket’s assigned owner and contact information supplied by CharityValet the credit card processor and provider of the software, at all times.

• The balls will then be placed in sealed containers.

• The containers holding the golf balls will be stored in a secure location until the day of the event.

Ball Drop

• The transport containers will be placed into the firetruck to be dropped

• Once all balls have been dropped, determination of the winners will take place.

 

A representative of the Seven Lakes Fire & Rescue will certify all winning balls. Certification.

These policies are intended to make the Golf Ball Drop fun and fair and to maintain the value and appreciation of the prizes.
